dan pawsey opened the scoring from a joseph wyatt corner which pawsey stuck on the volley in to the blue star goal, new mills almost doubled the lead on 10v minutes from man of the match jacob scholes shot from outside the area just going wide. haiden cullen in the new mills goal kept the scoreline at 1-0 with a good save tipping the ball around the post. ben stanton and tyler hannan in the new mills midfield were combining well and almost worked a opening for pawsey to double the lead but the keeper saved his shot. blue star drew level just before half time. new mills made some changes in the 2nd half bringing on josh bridley in defence with sam lillis and isaac brown in midfield. it was brown who got the winner with a powerful shot giving the keeper no chance and to cap off a good team performance.
